About us

There has never been a better time to rethink our relationship with the natural world, our habits and how we care for one another. Throughout the centuries, people have relied on the unique properties of plants for healing and wellbeing. Today’s herbal medicine embraces a holistic approach that goes beyond just treating simple symptoms. It looks at lifestyles, ecosystems and provides much-needed support for people, whatever their circumstances.

Meet the team.

Sophie Wilson

Medical Herbalist.

Sophie (she/her) is a medical herbalist, currently pursuing her education with the Betonica School of Herbal Medicine.

I have always had a deep interest in folklore and plants, as well as a strong desire to help people. Growing up in the countryside of the east of France allowed me to connect with nature from an early age, enjoying endless forests and mountainous landscapes. What a privilege! Now training to become a fully-fledged medical herbalist, I can’t wait to find new ways of connecting people to our beautiful planet.

Jamie Wilson

Gardener.

Jamie (him/his) is a horticulturist trained at Pershore College and does all the heavyweight tasks in our gardens.

I started a horticulture apprenticeship in Feb 2020 with a small team of gardeners in the Cotswold & Vale district. I attended Pershore College for my regular dose of education, and got to learn about plants, soil, and environmental issues with a group of about eight fellow students. Here's how it has changed the way I see the world around me.
